I am unable to login to the HDE Controller following the error message "The validity period of your license has expired".

Please not that the trial license operates on a 60-days operation limit starting from the date of installation.

Following are some possible causes to the error message above:

1. Error in the time/date setting on the server.
2. The same software had already been installed once in the past.
3. Problem during software installation.

For [1][3], please uninstall the product (hde-uninstall), fix the time/date setting on the server, delete the following directory, and re-install the product.

Delete directory: /usr/local/hde/lc
* It is important that you delete this directory AFTER uninstalling the product (hde-uninstall).

For [2], if the same product had already been installed on the server in the past, it could effect the operation of the software. Please re-install the OS on the environment recommended on our product and re-install the software.
